Accuracy and sourcing
Thai News Brief aims to publish accurate, useful and clearly written coverage of Thailand. A news article must have an identifiable original source and independent or official confirmation where the subject requires it. Claims that remain disputed or cannot be verified do not enter a finished article.
Independent English editions
Our English stories preserve verified facts while using their own headline, lead, structure and context for international readers. They are not literal copies of another publication. We distinguish reporting from travel guidance and avoid adding a commercial angle when it does not serve the story.
AI-assisted workflow
We use AI-assisted tools for source monitoring, language normalization, research support, drafting and image production. Automation does not remove editorial controls. The workflow restricts claims to a recorded evidence set, validates sources and SEO fields, blocks unsupported links, limits retries and sends sensitive or failed material to manual review.
Images and labels
Some editorial images may be produced with generative tools when a suitable documentary image is not available. Captions and alternative text describe the scene and subject; generated images are illustrative and must not be presented as evidence of an event.
Corrections and conflicts
Material errors are corrected promptly under our Corrections Policy. Sponsored or affiliate relationships do not determine the facts, framing or publication decision. Commercial relationships are described in our Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure.
