Thai AirAsia says it will increase flights to Udon Thani ahead of the horticultural expo, adding services from Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket and offering time-limited fare discounts.

Thai AirAsia announced the planned frequency increases on October 14, 2026. Udon Thani will host the International Horticultural Expo from November 1, 2026, to March 14, 2027, at Nong Dae Wetland. The event dates and venue appear in Thai government and horticultural association listings.

The airline says its route from Bangkok’s Don Mueang airport will operate up to six times a day. It also lists four flights per week from Chiang Mai and four per week from Phuket. These figures describe the carrier’s announced schedule; they are not independent confirmation of operating frequencies. Travellers should check current flight availability before booking.

Connections and fare offers

Thai AirAsia also lists Fly-Thru connections via Don Mueang between Udon Thani itineraries and Krabi, Surat Thani, Singapore, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Tokyo. These connections involve a transfer in Bangkok; they are not direct flights from those cities to Udon Thani.

For direct flights to or from Udon Thani, the airline advertises discounts of up to 30% on bookings made by October 18, 2026, for travel through March 31, 2027. The maximum discount may not apply to every booking. A separate offer advertises up to 20% off group bookings for at least five passengers. Those bookings must be made by March 15, 2027, and travel must take place by March 31, 2027.

What the announcement covers

Thai AirAsia says it will present an AirAsia Garden at the expo. Its announcement sets out the carrier’s planned flight frequencies, connections and promotional terms. It does not independently verify the schedules or establish how many seats will be available on particular dates. The expo dates and venue, by contrast, are also listed by the Thai government and the International Association of Horticultural Producers.
