The Bangkok embassy is a central consular point for people who need passport, visa, citizenship or emergency assistance in Thailand.
Where the Bangkok embassy is
The Bangkok embassy of the Republic of Poland is located in Athenee Tower on Wireless Road (Witthayu Road) in the Pathumwan district. The address is Unit 605–607, 6th Floor, Athenee Tower, Wireless Road, Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330.
This is a central part of the city, surrounded by other embassies, hotels and international company offices. That makes the Bangkok embassy relatively easy to find, even for first-time visitors to the capital.
How to get there
The most convenient way to reach the Bangkok embassy is by BTS Skytrain. Get off at Phloen Chit station and continue on the covered skywalk toward Athenee Tower. The walk takes only a few minutes and leads directly to the building.
Taxis and ride-hailing services such as Bolt or Grab can also drop you at “Athenee Tower, Wireless Road”. It is a well-known landmark in central Bangkok, so drivers should know the location.
Opening hours and contact details
The embassy operates from Monday to Friday during official office hours. It is closed on weekends and public holidays. Before visiting, check current notices on the embassy website, because hours or procedures may change, especially during holiday periods or exceptional situations.
Contact details are:
- Telephone: +66 2 079 7300

What the consular section handles
The consular section deals with a wide range of official matters. These include issuing or renewing passports, certifying signatures or copies, registering births or deaths, visa and legalisation procedures, legal assistance and official translations.
Most matters require an appointment in the online e-Konsulat system. You select the type of case and an available slot, then print the PDF confirmation and bring it with you. Arrive on time and with all required documents, because service is handled strictly in appointment order.
Common tasks include passport applications for adults and children, document and signature certifications, visa applications for foreigners planning to travel to Poland, and civil status registration for Polish citizens abroad.
Emergency help after hours
In urgent situations such as an accident, detention, disappearance or sudden hospitalisation, you can contact the duty consul outside office hours. The emergency number is +66 819 364 618.
This line is for emergencies only. It is not for booking appointments, administrative questions or passport matters. For less urgent issues, email contact during office hours is the better option.
If you lose documents, the embassy can issue a temporary travel document that allows you to return to Poland. That makes the Bangkok embassy an important safety net as well as an administrative office for people in Thailand.
