The Phuket boat show at Yacht Haven Marina will run from 15–18 January 2026, bringing more than 70 boats, premium lifestyle displays and around 6,000 expected visitors to the island.

Phuket is preparing for a four-day marine event aimed at travellers, yacht buyers and industry professionals. The Phuket boat show will combine vessels, technology and premium lifestyle displays at the expanded Yacht Haven Marina.

Luxury travel heads to Phuket

The event is set to turn Phuket into a temporary centre for Asian yachting and high-end tourism. Visitors will be able to view sail and motor yachts, including superyachts of world-class standard, while the surrounding show area adds a broader luxury travel angle.

Organisers say the format is meant to appeal not only to yacht buyers and marine professionals, but also to travellers interested in Phuket’s premium side. The show combines boating with fashion presentations, gourmet tastings, live music and branded showcases ranging from automotive displays to real estate.

A bigger marina for bigger boats

Phuket Yacht Haven Marina has recently been expanded and modernised to meet rising interest in yacht tourism. The upgrade allows the marina to accept larger vessels and offer a wider range of services.

For visitors, that means more comfort and more ways to experience the island beyond the usual beach holiday. For the event itself, it gives the show a venue that matches its scale and its luxury focus.

Business, technology and sustainability

More than 100 exhibitors are expected to present the latest marine technology, including eco-friendly innovations aimed at supporting more sustainable yachting.

That matters because Thailand’s marine tourism has strong growth potential, but organisers and officials also want it to respond to environmental pressures. The message is clear: future growth should be premium and more responsible at the same time.

Conference ahead of the show

One day before the exhibition opens, on 14 January, Phuket will also host the Thailand Yachting Conference. The meeting is designed to bring together global industry leaders, including politicians, investors and technical experts.

Topics will include market trends and investment prospects, sustainable sailing practices, port infrastructure development, legal regulation and safety. The aim is to shape a direction that could help Thailand become one of Asia’s most important yachting centres.

JAND Events is organising the show with Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau. Officials say the event is intended as both a visitor attraction and a signal to business that Thailand wants to lead maritime tourism in Asia.

For Phuket, the boat show adds another layer to its image as a premium destination that can serve beach holidaymakers, yacht visitors and investors looking for opportunities in a growing sector.
