The Warsaw Bangkok flight begins on 7 October 2026 and gives Central European travellers a faster, non-stop way to reach Thailand.
The new Warsaw Bangkok flight starts on 7 October 2026 and marks a major shift in travel between Poland and Thailand. It shortens the journey, removes the need for hub transfers, and gives travellers from Central Europe a direct route into one of Asia’s most popular destinations.
What changes on 7 October 2026
Polish Airlines LOT will inaugurate the direct service from Warsaw to Bangkok using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The flight time will be about 10 hours and 20 minutes, making the trip faster and more comfortable than itineraries that depend on connecting airports.
At launch, the route will operate three times a week. From 26 October, during the winter 2026/2027 season, it will increase to five flights per week.
Why tourism officials call it a game changer
Representatives of the Tourism Authority of Thailand say the direct Dreamliner is a “game changer” because it can turn strong interest into actual holiday bookings. They see Poland as one of Thailand’s most promising tourism markets.
For the coming winter season, Thai authorities estimate the new route will attract around 47,000 Polish tourists and generate nearly 3.2 billion baht in revenue. For travellers, the practical benefit is simpler trip planning and less time spent in transit.
Poland’s growing appetite for Thailand
Thailand was already a top choice for Polish visitors. In 2025, nearly 238,000 people from Poland visited the country, a rise of more than 31% year on year. On average, they stayed for 14 days.
Bangkok, Krabi, Ko Samui and Chiang Mai were among the preferred destinations. That mix shows that visitors are not only looking for beaches, but also city breaks, island stays and cultural experiences.
What a Bangkok visit can include
A recent study visit for Polish industry partners highlighted the range of experiences available in Bangkok. The programme included the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, traditional Thai massage, evening tuk-tuk rides and shopping at ICONSIAM.
For travellers deciding whether to book now or later, the key point is simple: the Warsaw Bangkok flight makes Thailand easier to reach and gives winter-trip planners a direct long-haul option without the stress of changing planes.
